The rear axles are driven from the transfer case. The lead rear axle takes most of the driven load, and a drive shaft exits out of the rear of the lead rear axles reduction unit and powers the trailing rear axle. Both axles are driven all the time.

On a CCKW, both axles are driven from the transfer case, however, 2 seperate drive shafts exit the transfer case.

today it was very cold brrr...:-|

 

 

the frame for the seats are back in the cab (sandblasted, prindet and paintet;D)

then we paintet the exhaust with fireproof color. the altanator have a new gasket =P and a new painting ;D

 

and the engine :cool2: not very proffessionel but in wwii it was not better :)

and we doesn't wan't a vehicle that's nicer than after production , that's not real ;D a mil vehicle must run :P

hi folks :)

i don't know if tomorrow we will continue to work on the truck ( veryvery cold brrrr... =() , but i have new infos from the roof ;D i send the old one to a friend in germany, and he make us a new(he makes canvas for wwii vehicles too ;D ) http://www.kunstundhandwerk.com/ --> that's his website (dodge wc ect. is on it too )

 

so, it's a black roof, but the same material like the original US canvas ;D
