    A bit more progress have been made, but there is still a long way to go before the rust repairs will be done. I will have to replace the wood frame in the drivers side door, as it is disintegrating and screws where begining to loosen. luckly I could remove the frame from the door without cutting anything, so I hope I can have a copy made and refitted with out to much trouble, otherwise I will have to find a new door. Inspired by Guys Bedford I also painted the rear diff white, now I just have to fit the rear axle light and switch.

    The Flash light is swedish, the three crowns are the swedish equivilent to the WD broad arrow. Any swedes please correct me if it is wrong. Besides the equipment and uniforms that goes together with my vehicels, I collect any models I can find of them. I also collect danish military equipment and books from around 1700-1900. plus a couple of classic cars and hopefully soon a car for historic racing.

    It might be worth searching the photo archives of Imperial war museum, there are plenty of pictures there: http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/search?query=stuart&items_per_page=10&f[0]=webCategory%3Aphotographs&f[1]=contentDate%3ASecond%20World%20War The picture is from IWM most seem to be the riveted versions and only sand coloured. another option is to look at model kit, usually the supplied markings and suggested paint jobs in those are based on real vehicles.

    What happens at auctions dos not always make senses or represent the market value of stuff. Possibly these figures are more a case of two people getting carried a way in the bidding war. I have seen it a number of times while I work at big auction house in Denmark. People paying double the amount, that the same item can be bought for in open market.

    Is might be usefull for you, though its for a recovery truck. Only hand tools are stored in the cab, Hammers, pick axes etc is stored in the rear body.     Superb work, one thing though there is no net behind the radiator on my two Scammell Pioneers. and the indicator on the top schould be a bit higher

    By the looks of it the Germans captured most R100. The early tank transporter is from what I can find one of only two produced, so I find it a bit fasinating that it appear in photo in german service
