  1. That looks like the TILT PLATFORM at MVEE CHRISTCHURCH there is no establishment number to be seen so it would be hard to find any information
  2. first it may help if you look for the data plate which this is a brass plate usually fix to the off side chassis rail if that is not there give them the chassis number the chances are it was in the BG series of military registration numbers and will be found on the brass data plate and will be two numbers two letters two numbers either of the above will give the RLC MUSEUM a good chance of having the history card
  3. I did not know you were interested in Alvis Stalwart driver training units they are listed numbers 26 AG62 TO 26 AG 64
  4. Yesterday l had to put some more documents in to storage while there l took the opportunity to find the FVRDE ledger of establishment numbers allocated items this is just a list of the numbers allocated to items or vehicles and in the case of a vehicle the registration number by looking at establishment number it confirmed that 7227 was allocated to NGY 999 l was WRONG in saying it was NGY 990. l will not alter the other ledger listing as that is how it looked to me but will attach a note correcting the error

  16. mark when l said l had a picture of the PV2 that had the meadows gear box fitted it is the pv2 not the gearbox but the spec con firms it is fitted at the moment the printer is off line but when its back on line l will post the page from the 1962 book. l may have a diagram of pv 2 in among the drawings but at this time l am down sizing my vehicles
