  7. As Aston martin collector and Dingo freak I am sure that this is not true. Aston Martin never had any semi automatic boxes only borgwarner autoboxes first used in the late DB5-s as option. Dingos used wilson preselect gearboxes and as fare as I know this a just a better version of it. Great gear boxes and when well used they last long. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  8. Looking at it I think it is made in Germany/Austria. LHD well made is first impression Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  9. With us the do good snow prediction 5 weeks ago they predicted 10 inch of snow and it can in time, they said it will last a week than i gets warm and disappears it did. SO no white Christmas, but we get snow to day they say. I have put some extra wood logs on the fire. Any how we don't need to drive to the winter sport Peter http://www.milmarket.org

  12. LONGGGGG time ago, I had the honour to drive the one at Duxford ( about 1988) great experience an amazing vehicle to drive little different from a Dingo. Slow compare to a Dingo but considering its weight an amazing max speed for it age. In those days with no kids or wife, I could afford to spend a week a year at Duxford Looking after a Dingo they had. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  13. No and also no DINGO one :angry:angryI know it fits in under armoured but still DINGO deserves one just the best, many later armoured cars are based on the same prinicpal. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  14. This is an serious option next to the Dingo, they are just great vehicles and the wife is sitting comfortable. I was told that they do 90 miles hours looks to be pretty fast for a such a heavy machine. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  15. Very nice. Do not believe the rear view mirror is show much more than green armour surface. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  16. MOT is also good to be sure nothing is wrong with it, always goo the have a third eye having a look at it. Incase of an accident your will have less questions Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  17. What ever scale of transformation the tyres are way bigger than original ones. Angle is indeed a bit strange Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  18. John, not to worry, you will never been stopped in one go, so the energy will not be release all at once. In case you are stopped at once i don't think you have to worry any more what comes from the back. But considering the calculations a always laugh when a see people taking great effort to prevent it from rolling off on the back but not much for stopping it come forward. regards Peter
  19. Well I believe by looking at the pictures, that they used bigger balloon type tires that is why the wing had to go. But interesting pictures Peter http://www.milmarket.org
  20. well I do know but take 0,5 x 25 ton * ( m/s )^2 = at 30 mph it is 0,5 * 25.000 * (48000m/3600 sec)^2 = 0,5 * 25000* (13,3)^2 = 2200 ton of kinetic energy is released if stopped at once. When you strap it real tied, with no slack at all on the chains it may hold, but if there is a little speed build up any chain will snap. I suggest you take some serious chains, not one that holds the dog. Peter http://www.milmarket.org
