  1. Here's a clip of a very crushed and battered Morris C9/B .I think this person took on what almost anyone else would say was a HMV that was too far gone to be saved . This is an extremely dedicated restoration project . Something went wrong...
  2. photo's of similar self-trailer-able road roller unit's 1977 Galion 4-6 ton unit 1985 Galion 5 ton unit
  3. They did make and may still produce rollers with mid mounted road wheels to make transport simpler , no need for a trailer. The second photo is one I ve never seen before showing both the partition being used as well as a wood cover to keep debris out of or off of the frame and drive line a great idea for a dedicated or single use project vehicle .
  4. A different clip with real German AFV's from WWII in black and white and color Something went wrong...
  5. A clip of a Mack NO in motion . A REAL MANS Truck . Something went wrong...
  6. A clip of cold starting the same Caterpillar D8 Bulldozer as in post #17? Something went wrong...
  7. Part one of the series The Fight for the Sky with WWII period footage Something went wrong...
  8. Views of a restored B17 and a few of the Veterans who flew B17's during WWIISomething went wrong...
  9. This subject was posted before by me but I cant find the thread to update it , the links to youtube no longer work . This is the complete set of video's of transporting the floats from factory to airfield along with longer clips of take off and landing's of a DC3 with floats . Something went wrong...
  10. Not sure this is the best place for this mods move if needed Since I don't speak German and have watched "Battle of the Bulge" numerous times I found this youtube video that has the translated lyrics for the "Tank Song" in english or "Panzerlied" in German and thought others might be interested as well Something went wrong...

  12. Welcome to the Friendliest forum on the net , I / we hope you will post a few photo's of the restoration your doing on your BSA. the others with the Motorcycle knowledge should be along in a little while .
  13. Sorry not a doggy person , the only thing I can say about it , is that its not the Doctors.
  14. In Dans post that's a CCKW353h1 split axle , dump truck / tipper with winch , cant tell from this shot if it was another of the Air portables they had in their collection in 1990 or there abouts.
  15. Looks like it coming along , bits removed , cleaned and primered.
  16. I hope George isn't planning on bring too many of them to the Club house at the same time as the Car park Is far too crowded as it is and the expansion program is running into zoning problems, seems that its gown to the size you can easily see from quite a ways out in space and the neighbours aren't will to sell any more land . Will he still have Club house chores as the other new members or ? Oh and Welcome to the Friendliest Forum on the Net Mr. McKenzie .
  17. I have been waiting for some one to ask how does it steer ? Or does it only go in a straight line ?
  18. Its described as "large heavy and slow " how slow is it ? 25? or 30 mph? what are they like to drive ....lots of shifting for slight hills? is it diesel or petrol ? and whats the driving postion like seems to have a wacking great parking brake lever very close to the right foot/leg ? Only having seen them from a distance and in photo's I m very curious about them .
  19. A very practial piece of equipment you have there, I m sure you make it earn its keep .
  20. No, but they do have front wheel drive which the German designs didn't this helped in muddy and off road conditions and it may also be do to the length of track on the ground that would allow a bit of slip when cornering hard.
  21. There's more there than on a number of the as found photo's in back of Wheels & Tracks . Just mean you can get the bit you have cleaned and painted that much faster since you don't need to spend as long taking it to pieces.
  22. It looks pretty good out in the sun again .How did it get on Jack ? Hope any problems were small ones. I also note you need to fasten your hood latches , it would be a shame if something happened and it would scare the stuffing out of both the driver and the oncoming traffic !
  23. bumpty bump , seemed like a good time for this , but I cant pick on Jack .
