I would say based on the US Marines in the background, who have a mix of Marpat and tri-colour desert, but Coyote brown body armour, around 2004. Not scientific but after that the USMC were all in Marpat
I registered a REO last year for the first time and it didn't need a test
I followed the route described above
Fill in Nova form online
Get age letter from recognised club
Got insurance
Go down to DVLA office with all the above plus pictures and left with a tax disc
Quite simple as it turned out after lots of help from folks on this forum
I have always wondered that too. It was my understanding the high boots given to paratroopers was to provide extra ankle support on landing not to tuck your trousers into. I have only worn US leggings that do give you some ankle support but cant see the British Anklets doing the same thing. I guess I will find out on my Normandy trip this year...
We had a road trip from Battle, to Hastings, along the coast to Pevensey (beer and fish n chips) and then onto Lewes and then back again. Mine is the Dodge M37 in the middle and just had a new engine fitted so was a road test. All went very well. :-D:-D
