  1. I thought I would show a few pictures of my new REO, I went to collect the old girl from Rex Wards at the weekend after having all the mechanicals checked, renewed and replaced. And I am happy to say it goes like stink, sounds lovely and stops on a six pence (much better than my M37!!!) We also spent the weekend doing a rapid paint job in time for War & Peace this year, or "Not Beltring" as we are calling it. A big thanks to Hughes Movie Supplies for the loan of their facilities. It wont win any concours awards as the cab is a bit of a dog but will work for me We also picked up my new M101 trailer as well, its a '68 dated one so fits in the group nicely, we didn't have time to paint this but will get done this year at some point.
  2. cant wait, will be there this Friday. Site is looking nice and dry unlike last year when it was at saturation point weeks before the show
  3. ] Same here, great place and sure my parents were sick of me asking to go!

  5. We are there from the 12th, would be good to meet a few folks on here. We will be in the Living History area for those who pass by, come in and say hello.
  6. Great photos, really capture the period
  7. Very nice. We used to have a showmans van like that as kids. Towed behind a Foden Heavy Recovery truck. They are lovely inside. I grew up near Sandbach so Fodens and ERFs are part of my DNA
  8. Nice. Looks like you could do with a new windscreen
  9. Thats quite a random take home from a flower show! what model ERF is it?
  10. some great stuff on there. Its one of the things I like about Classic & Sports Car magazine, all the barn finds at the start
  11. The only problem I saw with the online NOVA form was that it didn't have the ability to put a purchase address of the UK, only Europe. Mine was a vehicle that had been in the UK for a long time but never registered. When I emailed them about this they said "just put Germany it will be fine" so I did got the form back and the truck is registered. Very silly form if it doesn't cater for one of the instances its required in, e.g. a large gap in being registered in the UK.
  12. It depends what period you are trying to represent. Post war models would be in the RAF blue, wartime ones following Army colour schemes of the time
  13. Hello there. Sounds like a nice collection, would be good to see some pictures the Vietnam era vehicles
  14. thats a great looking truck and you can see all the hard work you have put into it. Loo forward to seeing it at War & Peace

  18. Thats awful service. I broke down in my M37 on the way back from Overlord and the AA were there within 30 mins. Really helpful service and then towed us back. So AA recommended by me
