    Very BEST of luck Mate! Apparentley Normandy got well covered last night, about 20 inches! As far as weather forcasts go, the best available at the moment seems to be look out the window, and guess.

    Thanks Fugley, but the picture has been hidden by another post. Just off to berate Joris! I'll go looking for some, hopefully the vehicle will be up running this summer. The work needed is mostly just chop and change, brakes, complete replacement, wiring, complete replacement. and cosmetic.

    Jack , make sure you measure from the highest part of the road bed! And allow for ariels. Dear old MOD decided to fit new boilers in Main builders. Measuered up very carefully, yes it would just fit. So said boiler was deliveered, and the question was asked, 'What happens when the transport skids are fitted under it?:-D

    There is actual snow on the beaches in Jersey!! The last time I remeber that was 1963.

    Umm, I took the head off my Chore Horse. It had no gasket. Refitted it , with a bit of Hoylmar and it works fine. Didn't need to touch the bottom end. worth unscrewing the petrol tank vabvlve and checking that though, mine has stuck.

    Bit of a sidelline, anyone know if Land Rover LWBG hard tops used in any of thos etheatres? Number One son has got a bug about putting his latest aquisition in the sand and green.

    Seems to be changing to rain round here. Just praying it doesn't freeze up. So far we have kept a service going, and the compliments from passengers have mad it a pleasure to go to work! One person did get on yesterday and complained 'Your late!' an old lady at the back piped up 'Well what the hell do you expect! ' I just sat there and laughed.
