Did use one once, vehicle still ran. Don't use it now, vehicles stilll runs. I could see no discernable diffrence.
Best advice for a 6 volt system, keep all the electrical contacts clean and tight, invest in one of Franks electronic ignitions.
She's had my blood at times! :-D I've to many pictures to post or transferr via e mail. PM a postal adress and I'll send you discs. Have you got in touch with Phil Webb? He restored her, we showed her with my Dodge on many occasions.
Seen similar on a Bedford before! :cool2: Jersey Royal spuds being shipped in the 1950's, though quite a few vehicles survived into the 60's. I rememeber them as a kid.
30 corp went most places and did almost everything. There is a memorial at Sandhurst just inside the main entrance covered in plaques of where they went and what they did. http://goldbeach.org.uk/Y%20service/index.html This may intrest you.
I agree with Rick. Why should we pay a fortune to make money for others? If WE don't go all there is an empty feild. That isn't what the public pay a lot of money to see. I don't expect to pay an entry fee, it costs me enough just to keep vehicles up and running.
One horse saying to others 'These internal combustion engines! They'll never catch on!' At least you can garuntee them 'Tank Proof'. :-D
Sorry mate! That picture has sent me back to childhood days 'We'll get the B*ggers in THIS time!
Once got caught out by a set of fake Ferodo brake shoes. Found out when the brakes locked uo at 70 mph on the M4 motorway near Swindon. Definite stain on the drivers seat! Police and local factor and Ferodo all investigated, none could work out where they entered the supply chain.
