  1. Totaly agree, Sabre Sales, Nick is a realy funny guy and so helpfull very good prices, done a lot of buisness with him in the last couple of months, great shame that thay are closing down in 2013 loads of bargains.:-D
  2. every other site or thing that i go on either buisness, pleasure or research is allmost instant.
  3. Not sure wot is going on but for the last week when i type in TODAYS POSTS it is taking anything from 1 to 4mins 25 secs before anything comes up, never like that before and it tells me the search took o.10 secs.

Had to see Shoebury royal artillary association last night, thay have a ceremonial 25pdr thay are bringing it to an event we have organised in September, whilst there i was told that thay had just been GIVEN ANOTHER 25pdr FROM A SCHOOL in Ipswitch, TOTALLY FREE, GRATIS, SOME PEOPLE HAVE ALL THE LUCK.:-)

  10. POLSTEN 20mm originated in poland as an attempt to simplify the oerlikon design making it easier and cheaper. Shortly after succesfully compleating the work GERMANY invaded, the drawings were smuggled to England it went into production as an air defence weapon. only 119 parts were required against the oerlikon, usualy mounted on a three gun trailor but single were used. calibre 0.78in weight121lbs length 86.75in elevation0 to 90dg traverse 360 shell type weight HE. 4.19O muzzle velocity 2725ft per sec. effective ceiling 7200ft Hope that helps.

  17. fabrique national is correct, althow the Belgium FN was different to the SLR in that it was not an exact copy if i remember from down at the range, god that seems soooooooo long ago, so forgive me if i am wrong old age, old fart.

Sorry not replyed sooner been away, no mate do not know were he lives, i am the landlord at the PARSONS BARN at Shoebury, have seen it running around on Southend sea front but not caught him yet, thats why i asked if anyone had any contact details, we have a HELP FOR HEROES event 22nd September, have BANDS, 1940s coach, Wilys jeep, classic vehicles lots more but we are looking for more alied or axis vehicles, militery vehicles from any erea or nationality welcome. phone 01702 297373.   21. Hi, Had some contact with Quintiq as Shoeburyness today and afterwards went on there site and looked at there historic images, look at picture 21, A J type THORNYCROFT with 13pndr 9cwt AA gun, picture taken at the range in 1917. :-)

  24. I see camaron is involved in this, could this just be the replacement for the sea harrier the RN is in dire straights at present not much extra work involved turning them into seafires:D
