  1. Saw the modern truck it brought a half track into the show. Not sure but I think it was on English plates. It was parked infront of the "Benham camp" on the saturday and sunday
  2. I know Einer who's site this is he's a great guy he stayed with us at Beltring this year and for the last few years. He bought over his new Humvee this year and a few Mutt spares for me:). He sells all over the world even to the states.
  3. We are now down at the show. Getting in was fun with s defender towing a trailer with a mutt on in the end had to unload and tow the 110 in. The site is slick if you need to get to americas use the roads straight through if monktons turn left and go through the exit road. Looks to be a good show though. Having fun already. Nice to see a few old faces.
  4. Well said Mark. Its the people who make the show. We will be there tomorrow with the 434 and the Rapier and a hand full of Rovers you make what you will of the show we will be the ones having a hoot drinking beer and chatting with friends not seen for a while. See you there.
  5. I remember going to school in Munster in them. in the 70's
  6. You see a few mod ones driving around with soft tops that are a very pale green. They seem to bleach out.
  7. Look like tank traps will have to see if they work :-D
  8. Yep looks like its a Drone repair vehicle. What a well built body finally got inside it last night (didnt get the code for the padlock from the seller:blush:) Just got to start planning the inside layout for a camper now. Wish it still had the genny in it!! lots of lovely drawers all packed out with foam nice tough worktops etc. Still has 2 tank batteries in side as well sat in a nice frame. I cant find any pics of them in service looks to have had some form of awning on the front.
  9. Just say Its being done for Hollywood and It will be all right
  10. Just bought this off good old ebay anyone know what this would have been used for it says its for a bedford MK/J but I guess it would have been for a Leyland daf. Nice but seems a heavy body took two forklifts to lift it off:wow:
  11. Welcome Georgina Keep up the good work we enjoy the show and always have a good time. We have done away with using the showers and toilets on site due to people treating them so badly(do they treat their ones at home like this?) The show could do with being more relaxed but i guess with the many public on site and the size of the show that wont happen!:-(
  12. I have quite a few of these lights units (just the insides) if anyone needs them they are the same as the ones on the Rapier. PM me if you need any I think I have at least 20
  13. I will be there this time next week on the H4H rally will try and send some piccies. We are doing the Band of Brothers route.
  14. Nice erection there:shocked: Always good to see a Vampire set up.
  15. Not been down to this one for a while so Popped down in the charity Rover today for a quick visit(more to put a couple of miles before the rally and give it a shake down) Nice to see a few faces! On the way down saw a few vehicles heading north. Lots of nice trucks to see. Nice to see that the Pauls drops made it down without falling over:thumbsup: I think Dave needs a bigger caravan or a smaller truck:-) As others have said there were a few empty spaces but I quess thats the same with all shows people have places to be. Lots of public wandering around and lots of civvy cars in with displays but some nice displays. A well thought out show that every one seems to enjoy. A cleam LOOs
  16. Will try and get down in the not too distant future.
  17. I think as long as they comply and are driven sensibly they should cope quite well! All the M151's fall over when you go round corners dont you know:-\
  18. Tested the old girl out this weekend at the Gunpowder mill show. Nice to have a tent that is up in seconds for a change:cheesy:
  19. Off the shelf by a company called http://senseofadventure.biz/ their kit is fab and bespoke they will do what you want.
  20. A couple of my pictures from the Gunpowder mills. What a fantastic site we went and did alot of exploring and found loads to see around the site from the wildlife to the buildings the bunkers for rocket testing, I could have spent a week there and still wouldnt have seen the whole site( 171 acres) If you didnt go you missed a great show. I will be going again next year and looking forward to it already. Strange to think the site was only declassified 15 years ago. A big thanks to the guys for putting on the show.
  21. The body underneath looks alot better that the A1C I had:shocked: Must find time to pop down for a few bits and bobs.
  22. Be carefull driving it without weight in the back mine was intresting as the A1C's have double springs on the back. They do ride VERY nice with the gun in the back the wife still moans that it was the best/most comfortable vehicle we have ever had for driving round Beltring.:-(
  23. Couple more pictures now plated up and starting to look the part. For an old beat up B reg 1985 110 its scrubbed quite well.
