  9. Insure with footman James on the chassis number Appox £85-£100, then you need to sort out how you are registering it. Camper/motorhome will get you round under run etc decide on weight under or over 7.5 tonne HGV or not! If under 7.5 tonne get a class 7 or is it heavy class 4 not sure?? MOT at a VOSA place if over 7.5. Take all the paper work to the DVLA office and you should have all back with paper plates(you will have to get them made) Drive away.

  16. They do have a Mobat not sure on number etc. but saw it when I used to help out there.
  17. I think they should have a frame that clips to the back of the body and then a 9x9 style tent goes over it. Like a larger/taller Landrover one
  18. Could do with a slightly taller gear on my 4 ton daf seems to be flat out out 53 would be nice to cruise at that speed. Less wear and tear better on fuel and all that.
  19. Leyland daf droos n/bound m40 with a stolly on the rack
  20. There are 2 different types you have 8 that bolt down vertically and 2 that pull at an angle. Any you can get hold of would be great.
  21. Agreed most things are only as strong as the weakesy point! I could still with some of the clamps if anyone has them.
  22. I would have thought that a load of ratchet straps would hold on the body quite securly(would still like the proper clamps though) I may even look into fitting twist locks into the bed of the truck just to make sure! It was for repairing drones out in the sunny areas of the world.
  23. Its a drone repair body. They are made out of an alloy and insulation sandwich. Withams had a few in the last tender(i hot mine alot cheaper than those)I think it had a total of 8 ratchet straps holding it on then it was given a good dollop of light stone on top. They are the later type fitted to the LD 4 tonners. I have the same plans for it as you have a military camper. It will make the shows more comfortable.
