Just persuded my dad to clear his garage out, the stuff we found was amazing!!!, 6 headlights, 2 starters, distributor, 12 tins of paint, shed loads of bolts screws connectors etc etc.

Am I the only person that has to have a look in a skip if I go past it.
When I had a railway arch with my dad I built my spray booth with stuff I founds in skips, including the lighting/wiring.
Whats the best thing you have ever found in a skip?
I think the goverment would like to stop mv shows because they are not 'diverse' enough.
Remember the goverment minister walking around w+p a couple of years ago?.
The slow errosion of the british culture...............
I went to the victory show last year and it was brilliant!
You will love it jack, loads of ww2 vehciles and the best battle reanactment I have ever seen and ww2 aircraft flying over as well.
At the moment my 110 will be non compliant in 2010. I heard somewhere that TFL will exempt land rovers but I am still waiting for written proof.
If TFL say no to land rovers I will have to stick a petrol engine in mine:-(
I bought this one from ebay;
I paid £675 for it. It's a civvy one and was a hard top. The good thing about it being civvy is that it has power steering!. The fun was converting it to military spec.
Alot depends what the engine was like when it was last used. My uncles rover 110 was left for a similar amount off time and what my dad did was drain out the old oil and fill the engine with diesel and left it for a week, he then started turning over the engine with the starting handle 100 times a day and then put fresh oil in it and started it.
