I would fit a new carb, ive bought a few landys running like yours and a new carb has always done the trick. Make sure you set it up right when you fit it though.

It's had an unleaded head and new crank fitted. It just needs a good service and the inside seats repainting. He's going to let me have a drive of it!.

I think the army used them. It's a 1955 austin A40 somerset, 1200cc, 4 speed colum change. He drove it back from bristol and it did'nt miss a beat. I must admit, I thought it was a bad idea, but a good effort on felix's part. I know what you mean about chatham though, it's colder inside the shed than outside!.

I have painted about 20 landy's over the years so here's my advice. Don't bother trying to strip the paint off, it take's forever and is hard work. Get yourself a dual action sander which takes sticky disc's and NOT velcro, velcro discs cost a fortune. I have just bought a s/h one from ebay for £70. Use the sander to flat down the paint and then paint straight over it. Those of you that have seen my landy can see how good it looks and I did it the same way. I flatted my 110 in about 5 hrs with a sander.

Tasco scopes and zippo lighters do the same thing.

Went to Chatham militaria fair on sunday and I won the bren gun in the raffle. It's only took 3 years!. I took yves(user name 777AAA) who is working in london for 3 months. Yves is a really nice fella and he enjoyed himself. I must admit, I would like to see showers at weekend shows. It's nice to have one first thing in morning.

Solar power shower!, with the summer we had.

MY dad and I were having a chat and we were talking about the shows for next year and I said that I hope there are more showers at shows next year. Companies that supply toilets also do showers and I feel it would be the biggest improvement for shows. What do you think?.

Sailsbury plain. Denmead. W+P Essex mvt show. Cosby. Probably a few more in between. Because i'm a taxi driver and weekends are the busiest time, I try to go to a show every other weekend. If I won the lottery I would go to a show every weekend!.
