Still not had a reply so looks like me and the boys won't be going.

I have always made a point of talking to the public when at shows.

Got stopped going into liverpool street stn to pick up my girlfriend by anti-terriost police once, thought to myself "what do they want", copper says to me, "ive got a lightwieght mate and i'm having real trouble with the brakes!". 30 mins later we are still chatting and said girlfriend is on the mobile to me asking where I am!! As I left, the copper says " do me a favour, get some road tax on it!!!"

Not had mine yet, did phone and leave a message, but, as yet, no reply.

I reckon we all sit side by side. It's good to have a hobby and be pasionatte about it, whatever it is.

Must admit, ive been hopeing for rain this week so we can get it out off the way for w+p. Don't care what the weather is, i'm still going. Overall, in the 15 yrs ive been going the weathers been good.

I ve spoke to quite a few people this year who arn'nt going because of the amount they have to pay to take thier vehcile there..........

At least thier not in the scrap yard and someone is enjoying them............

Was talking to an ex RASC guy at duxford, he was a bit confused when I said "Run Away Someones Comming"....... hehe Pointed him in the right direction for a stable belt.

Just got back from duxford. Met the dodgy squaddies at 7am and off we headed. My dad was in the lead and promptly got us lost! I took the lead and we arrived. The weather was great, and I got to drive my landy on the runway, very cool!, driving around a WW2 battle of britain airfield. There was about 20 stalls there and the spitfire was up and flying and the vulcan flew overhead. Some piccys. On the runway; One for carweazle A very good day out. Just a few critisisms, I went for breakfast but the on site restaurant was'nt doing them! I had a bacon roll and a sausage in a roll and a cup of tea, price, £7.15!! It was £1.65 just for a cup of tea. The burger vans were just as bad, £4.00 for a cheeseburger!, £1.50 for a cup of tea. It really pees me off when these kind of prices are charged.

Ive used to K seal on leaking heater radiators with great results.

Duxfords alot easier to get to for the day. One day i'll dunsfold, promise.

I reckon duxford should bo a full weekend MV show with traders there. It's in a great place with good transports links.
