  1. A CVRT Spartan, I couldn't convince Santa so had to treat myself.
  2. Hi James, Already sent PMs and e-mail, don't know if you've received them? still very interested. Regards Nigel.
  3. Well done AFRA, I have post war vehicles and my admittedly limited contacts with the Victory Show I found the arrogant and unhelpful.
  4. Welcom Mike. Looks like you are a fellow Pinzgauer owner, which model? Cheers.
  5. I watched it, hope they never want to work on the engine!:laugh:
  6. Hi Phil, Have you joined up with the Haflinger and Pinzgauer Club-UK, we are a small friendly club and can give you access to spares and a lot of expertise in rebuilding these fantastic little machines, if you're interested I can put you in touch with our membership secretary. Good luck with the rebuild, Cheers Nigel.
  7. We had fuel supply issues with the Hellcat, I think we've got it sussed, the 2 electric fuel pumps couldn't keep up with the engine at full tilt. We will have 2 new high capacity fuel pumps fitted before next year!! As to the exhaust noise, if you were in the turret you certainly would hear it!
  8. Definately ex Swiss 710M. Should be worth min £7500 if it goes cheaper it's a bargain, only down side is it's on the Shetlands that might drag the price down.
  9. This is the Sealy compressor, it can be used single handed ( if you have a pneumatic impact wrench ) it can be done with a ratchet but it's hard work. However it's the only compressor I trust not to take my head off.
  10. Hi Landyandy. I use a Sealy spring compressor for the pinnies, I'll get you the number off it if you're interested, if I remember correctly it cost about £350 but these things are dangerous and I value my life!!! unfortunately you're a bit far away or you could pop round and borrow it but I'm up in Sheffield. Cheers Nigel.
  11. Hi Niki. I didn't know you were on here!! Small world :-)
  12. Ex Swiss Army Pinzgauer 712 6x6 Ambulance converted to camper.

  14. Swiss Army Ambulance, 1972 Steyr Puch Pinzgauer 712 6x6.
  15. A week off with the flu bug and a couple of feet of snow has put my Pinzgauer project back. it was supposed to be finished by christmas, but it looks like I'll be working on it over the holiday! I get one day off as we have a Haflinger club play day in a quarry on wednesday the 29th ( weather permitting )
  16. I have 3 Hafs and am happy to help with any advise, for spares check out www.haflingertechnik.com and I also suggest joining the owners club www.haflinger4wheeldriveclub.org there's a wealth of information with the club members and we're a friendly bunch.:-)
  17. The P80 pinz has just been repainted in Nato green, previously it was in Berlin camo which I think looked very effective, but the owner prefers Nato.
  18. Good guess Mike, Pinz is a P80 ex swedish, has a fibreglass nose because it has one of my intercooler convesions, even with all the gear bolted on it still goes very well. Nigel.
  19. If you're still in the country Mike we're having the first Pinzgauer Treffen in Derbyshire on the 10th, 11th, and 12th September. Hoping to have between 10 and 15 Pinzgauers and about 6 Haflingers there, It's a day serious off roading around the Peak District of Derbyshire on the Saturday, BBQ Sat night and a play day on site on Sunday. We'd love to see you there, and can allways find you a seat in a Pinz. Cheers Nigel.

Hi Mike. Will you be in the UK long enough for a trip up to Sheffield ? It would be good to meet up and compare notes, my P93 is allmost ready to fire up. cheers Nigel.
  21. Generally speaking a Pinz 712 in that sort of condition is worth around 8 K. In good condition, around 10 to 11K, all parts are available, though they don't go wrong very often. Hope this helps.
  22. Hi Phil. Trailer axles are rears from front wheel drive transits year 2000 onwards.
