I just got an instruction manual fot the Morris Commercial CD CD/FCD/F winch CD/S winch Six wheelers I have coppied the whole thing as its on its way out worn and burnt edges this has both the 4 and 6 clylinder lay outs and other goodies 144 pages unfortunatly i can only copy one side at work(I mean st home of course) But if any one needs a copy contact me

  10. Yep Artillery Enginers ect all in 58 kit and SLR/SMGs and green kit DPMs for the first month or soI suppose we were lucky to have helmets and S12 resperators
  11. welcome Ken is that an lpg conversion or am i seeing things that petrol tank looks round! Funny most of 12 Regt fitters wouldnt touch a 101 as a personal veh I loved mine but then I didnt need to fix them.
  12. This is for the Shoeburyness R.A.A Has anyone had any knowlage of repairing the electrics /wireing loom they have been told it would be easier to replace the whole loom than trace a fault as all the cable is black they were quoted £500.00 though this includes a £99.00 Battery
  13. Some more I took today a large crack is opening up in the old casement hope its not too bad and the memorial kirn has had the plates removed I hope it was official!

  17. Just dug this up from the depth 20 years ago Daughter on her first MV. Mk 2 Recky 12 Regt open day Dortmund. Any one know if it made it to preservation. The Ferret I mean.
  18. Oh How I remember it mine threw out blue smoke I was getting pointed out they thought it was on fire but very warm even with all the doors off

Hi Nigel I had one of those in the 80s while serving in BAOR even had the Danish rear stowage rack I regret ever selling it fond memorys of driving down the B1 with every thing down mine had been painted white. I named her called Thingy. before I had even heare of that nick name. I wish I could get another but they seem to go for silly money now
  21. Morris C8 also have to rods as you can see on the lower part of the diff. Do they look anything like these?

I joined 16 in 1978 14 bty they were in Kirton Lindsy and had been for a bit It was an an old Defiant fighter base (polish Sqns I beleve) there were two btys with Rapier fsb1 and 30 bty still had 40/70 Boffers and a mix of Millitant and Leyland Martins I was there for the final firing over the old airfield.
