We had a Peugeot van. I put this aluminum insulation foil that they put behind radiators on the roof with double sided tape. Than i screwed in a plate of laquered plywood. Worked very nice. Just a few self tapping scews will do.
Ok you are right, on the other pictures it looked like a wood grain. You could try to locate some of this stuff at a firm that reconditions big electric motors. Isn't it also called pertinax?
I have one of those house moisture eaters in the car. It's a lot cheeper but, ou have to empty it sometimes. But it's a small car.
Could ventilation not help? Make something that can be put on top of the door windows.
Schunck, a department store in the neighboring town had 3 buses to bring customers from the region to the shop in the 1920s. Could this be ex-army trucks? The middle one seems to have an real bus body.
I had a modern trickle charger that didn't recognise the battery when it was to low and it did shut off.... So i had to hook up an old charger with only an on and off button. This did the trick. Good luck.
@67burwood. A friend wanted an amp meter in his car that could also mesure the amps from the starter... he ended up in completly melting his dash...😁
I was at a French oldtimer dealer once, he showed us a big wooden crate he just found. In putting aside the woodwool there were a lot of NOS Bleriot head lamps, marvellous...

My brother spotted this axle with two wheels in a garden in Germany. If i see the casting marks on the wheel i think it might be French. I am not shure if it are massive or inflatable tyres. Any idea what it could be? Truck, gun? it's about a meter high.
