I live in East Kent and have recently bought a 1944 Ford GPW Jeep in need of some restoration. I have identified the Chassis No as 200959 and need some help in finding out some more details about this jeep. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Richard Farrant Posted October 8, 2019 Share Posted October 8, 2019 The Chilwell lists only show the groups of census numbers for each contract of vehicles. No reference to Chassis numbers. The website I linked to you will be of more help as they have records of Key Cards for jeeps and can cross reference to chassis numbers.
