robin craig
As I have been out of the UK for a few decades im out of touch, so humour me. What happened to the iconic Royal Marine rigid raiding craft? While im at it what about the assault boats with the removeable transomes that could be turned back to back and joined? Pics and info anyone? Robin
andrewroberts.1953
The local RM dept, got rid of loads a few years ago. But all were cut in half at least, many were in many bits. Some have turned up, but very hard to come by these days. Pity, as really good boats, and ideal for the job.
jerry.ice
Some rigid raiders in stock at RAMCO at present, in the current stock rather than tender sale area. Seem to have quite a few launches as well.
Tony B
Years ago we had a rigid raider as a saftey boat at the Sailing School in Jersey, twin 60 hp Johnson's. God it was fun!!!
robin craig
I guess I may be a bit older than you chaps, what i was on about would have i guess been the first versions of the rigid raiders. I will try to find a picture. Robin
