plainmilitary
Sadly another event has bit the dust. First to go was the Army open day at Larkhill, then the Plain invasion weekend and now the Tidworth festival. This event was by far the biggest of all the events on Salisbury Plain. Three days of fun, frolics, air displays and Status Quo. All three events have basicly followed the same path, Money, time, commitment and the need to fit in Army training. All I can say is roll on 2010....
Shakey985
A couple of weeks ago I went on a tour of our school of armour and there was one thing that stood out and that was WE ARE AT WAR AND WE ARE TRAINING FOR THE NEXT ROTATION OF TROOPS. So if you miss a few shows that's life.
plainmilitary
That was one of the main reasons why we pulled the plug on the Plain Invasion weekend. On the same weekend as the PI there was a double battle group out training. During all MRXs everything stops to allow the troops to get on with it.
