Topdog
A friend has just obtained an FAC for a 76 mm on a scorpion. Can I ask who knows what about blank charges. Lee, I think we spoke at Beltring about black powder vs flashpowder. Need a bit of assistance guys. Dave
Tony B
Black powder requires a seperate licence, aquire and keep. Form from Police but actually issued by local authority. Best people to ask are the Muzzle Loaders Asocation, they can advise on just about any use you can think of. Edited April 27, 2009 by Marmite!! Marmite!!
Tell him to contact his ELO & have a chat... they will want to make sure he's competent to use BP.. They will enquire what experience he has had using it... they did with mine, but there again I've been blowing the crap out of stuff for years... BP licence is only any use presuming he has a fully working breech & uncut barrel... just because he has it on a FAC doesn't automatically mean it's still live... My MOBAT was deactivated when I bought it but it was still held on a FAC If not live then the pyro route is best... that's presuming that the breech end is sealed..
