jerry.ice
I came accross this web site while trawling the net and thouht others might find it of some interest. The site is dedicated to the US Army Fire Fighters and Their Equipment. The wealth of images on this site shows some very unusual and unique vehicles. There are plenty of UK based airfield shots showing what could become interesting vehicles to display, such as a fire fighting Sherman with a water cannon for use on ammo dumps! www.firetrucks-atwar.com Take a look and see what you think. rosie
:red::red::red: I got all excited then, thought it was a site full of Army firefighters in uniform and not trucks, sorry guys-carry on.:sweat::sweat:

Great War truck
Very interesting website. A WW2 GMC fire engine was up on E-Bay a while back. I wish that i had taken more notice of it now. It would be great fun at a show. Tim (too)
jerry.ice
Also a lot of on base modifications of GMC`s and Dodges. The shots of Framlington shows interesting foam tenders based at Framlington. There are a number of ex RAF rescue vehicles in preservation but not many USAF (i stand to be corrected), and would make interesting additions to the show circuit, parked up next to Bodge!
