Snapper Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I was stunned to see one of these while walking home from work a week ago, and saw it again on Saturday morning. I had to look it up, it's a Alvis/GKN Tactica. Quite a beast. I copied this snap of one off another site. Quote

Snapper Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Bung him a Bunker Bash flyer when you next see it :-D Will do. Mark, you're probably right about the metalwork. I didn't see much extra armour. But I need to see it parked in daylight. Wouldn't it be great if the owner sees this thread and joins us! MB Quote
ian2b Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Whilst out shopping today I came across the vehicle Snapper must have seen. Data Plate says, Glover Webb Tactica - Armoured Personnel Carrier. What a beast. (And yes before you ask Lee I did give him a leaflet and if he is available it will be at the Bunker Bash 2009 Show) Quote

Lumpy Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) Used mostly by E.O.D units in N.I. By the looks of it, most of the armour has been removed. the hard armour is still there, the whole thing is made of it, what is missing is the outer skin and probably the composite insides too. Was this one SG119 or 121 on the nameplate? Edited April 11, 2013 by Lumpy selling Quote
Lumpy Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 parked in a quiet residential area reportedly after picking some kids up from school, alledgedly. Quote
