Grey area Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 Hello all from the Dorset coast. My interest in big toys began with a Perkins powered military IIa 109 landy. It served me through 6 years of living on the road as a "new age" traveller - living with and working on vehicles such as Explorers, Matadors, K9s, RLs, a QL, Q4s, Humbers and MKs (I spent a couple of years living in the back of one of these). There are photos of some of these MVs at http://www.travellerhomes.co.uk I have of a few photos that I will try to get scanned and posted when I get the chance. It's good to find a group of people who like to play with big toys, er, I mean - keep our historic military vehicle heritage alive...
