48AT14 RAF Regiment Spartan

I have recently been in touch with a former crewman of our Spartan, he served on it when it belonged to C Flight, 1 Sqn RAF Regiment at RAF Laarbruch in Germany. He sent over these photos today, I thought they might interest some of you. (He assures me it is the one in the air!)

Good to know some extra history of your Spartan!

 

When I was at an ATC Camp in 2006 at RAF Coningsby the EOD team there had a Spartan, does anyone know what became of it? The crew said it was going in favour of a wheeled vehicle.
