M10 Achilles IIc

Recommended Posts

We are a group in Denmark that are restoring a ex. Danish army M10 Achille IIc, it is now running, but we still need the finishing toutch.

We would like to backdate it to it's original state with the unit it served under during WW2, so if any body could help use with details for this we would be happy.

It is build 1943, with MFRS Serial no. 4347, and Order serial no 7279.

So far we have not been able to dig anything up, so if anybody could help it would be appriciated.:)

cheers

Jes

Hi Welcome to the forum...

Have you tried contacting Bovington Tank Museum http://www.tankmuseum.org/About to see if they have any records on Your M10... it also may be worth contacting Rex Cadman rex@theoldrectory.freeserve.co.uk who recently restored his M10,he may have spare parts...

Cheers Lee

HPIM4101_Moerbrugge_Canadian_Memorial_ooo.jpgThis is the way we restore armour , it used to be a M 10 , good base for a restauration job , unfortunately the mayor of this village supports the idea of "transforming swords into ploughs" , a shame for our generation and the men who used these machines to bring liberation over Europe

Cripes. What a shocker. My eyes will be permenantly damaged.
