English Admiral Sir George Rooke captures Gibraltar from the Spanish.

 

And it made the local news but may not have reached national coverage.

 

This week a Syrian artic driver set out for Gibraltar. He followed his Sat Nav.

 

He duly arrived at Gibraltar Point, a nature reserve south of Skegness, Lincs (poulation 2) without having clicked that he shouldn't have had to get on a ferry, and 1200 miles from his intended destination! Beggars belief, doesn't it.
