On the last day of operation Dynamo, the attempt to bring back the B.E.F. and other free forces to Britain sees the RAF fly 171 Recce sorties, 651 Bombing Sorties whilst fighter command carries out 2739 sorties

 

Front line sregnth of fighter command is 331, a mix of Hurricanes and Spitfires.

 

Their reserve strength is just 36 more fighters.
