Threeracers
Good afternoon all, I bought a Bedford recently, advertised as a 1989 MK, which I am now living in. I am completely new to Bedfords and need to source some filters for an oil service. On the Chassis plate is says TYPE MJP2BMO and then SERIAL No MJP2BMKT200587. So, learned peoples what do I have? Any suggestions as to where I source service parts would also be gratefully received. Many thanks Mark
sirhc
I think the MJ in the type and serial number should be a clue. Does it have a turbo?
Threeracers
I believe the MJs were later, introduced in 1981, so as mine 1989 vintage I guessed it must be. And yes, it does have a turbo. Any tips for parts suppliers? M
john1950
Bygone Bedford bits. Your local filter supplier should be able to cross reference your filters.
