Dear Forum Members,

My name is Johan, 39 years old and from Antwerp, Belgium.

After messing with vintage Porsches for over 15 years, I wanted to
try something different, so 2 months ago, I bought my first Land Rover Series 2a.

It's a bit of a project 😅

Through the RLC I found out it was a former BAOR Land Rover.

It served at Antwerp Barracks until it was scrapped in 1975 and
sold to a car dealer in Belgium.  From then it was used on a farm until 2002.

After contacting veterans form the 3 TK TPTR SQN, I discovered
it was an escort vehicle for the Antar Tank Transporters at Sennheim.

I also got a picture of 00-FK-83 (think that's the closest I'll get to
an actual picture of my car)

Currently it already had it's maintenance and my wife surprised me
by telling me she wanted to paint the car (she never took interested
in any of my projects, so this came as a surprise..)

Now I'm waiting for a few days of good weather to apply the flat black
camo pattern I derived from 00-FK-83.

I see 00 FK 83 had signage over the cab, below is an alternative on 00 FK 50

I also opted for this signage since it's much easier to replicate.
Already have the orange light at hand, just need to fabricate a support. 😊
