ghasp!
Hi Could someone help me out with finding reverse on a Land Rover 101 Forward Control gearbox? Thanks
Mk3iain
Is there a specific problem with the gearbox ?
ghasp!
Not a problem as such, just that there's no markings on the gear stick as to where reverse should be.
Mk3iain
Aha, ok, its an LT95 so over to the right against the spring and back. A Range Rover classic knob will do you, plenty on ebay. They are marked with gear positions. I take it that it is fitted to a conversion ?
john fox
odd question. The 101 has 4 forward and 1 reverse gears. Forward is the classic H shape so by a process of elimination if you move the gearstick to a position that is not in one of the arms of an H then that is reverse. Alternatively you could just read the book (far right and back)
