We used to see them a lot before the "Historic" road tax exemption came in, because the vehicle was then classed as a mobile crane on a low tax. abn deuce Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 I have not seen many . the limit on the chain hoist was 500kg or 1100 lbs. other photo's of the "set no.7" the proper description ( my error in the earlier post ) can be seen in The book by Boniface and Jeudy "The GMC a Universal Truck" pages 72 and 73.
