1943 Chevy Tipper

Have you seen this on Milweb. Currently advertised for 2950 euros :schocked: Is this an average price for one of these or is the guy being a tad optomistic?

I paid a similar amount for mine and that was 90% comlpete and running. Also in CMV magazine last month they were saying you would pay £7000 upwards for a restored truck. Is this right? I know there aren't too many around, but I didn't think they were that rare.

Fantastic to see that back to original shape and color. who knows if it would have lasted much long as you found it ...might have been melted down . Now it will someday be in a museum , when its day at show's have ended. :thankyou:

Of course that's a long time before it was painted purple and used in Darling Buds, Mr Larkin sir.

I know all the history of that purple one since it was registered in London around 1950, and it isn't a tipper, or even a cargo.....
