G506
Hi Bill, looks like a British 'Arrow' to me, 1980s to 1990s, the kind of trailer probably pulled by a Bedford MK or TM, or Leyland DAF. G506

MilitantGraham
...the kind of trailer probably pulled by a Bedford MK or TM, or Leyland DAF. G506 Although it's got "TUM Only" on the draw bar. :?
sirhc
Graham, I think it says TUH? Chris
MilitantGraham
I think you're right. It does look a bit big for a 110. It would be more at home behind a RB44.
morris c8 fat
Its a wide track for bedfords we wernt permited to use landrovers to even move them round the compounds it will take two black water bowsers to give you an idea of its size. Richard Farrant
It seems unclear whether it is TUM or TUH painted on the drawbar. If it is TUM, that denotes Pinzgauer and TUH is RB44, I think it is the latter, which would be the smallest vehicle that would tow it although they were mostly used behind 4 tonners. G506
As far as I know, Sankey didnt build this style of trailer. The British Army had a large presence in Canada, is it worth checking classified ads from there, in case any 3/4 ton Sankeys were sold off locally and not returned to the UK?
