Jessie The Jeep
I wasn't at W&P, which Spitfire was it??? I got quite a few Spit pics at the Flying Legends Airshow. I'm happy to mail a few over. Steve
Markheliops
Snapper took a nice pic at the prize giving. As I was having my pic taken with prize, the Spitfire flew over head and he caught it in the shot. So pic of me, Ward La France, prize and Spitfire in the same shot. What more could a man want. (apart from a tow out of the arena). Rather nice of the RAF to give me a fly-past. Well deserved I thought. :-D Markheliops

Richard Farrant
how many times did the spit fly over as I saw it on thursday and am assuming the prize giving was on sunday Nigel, I think the Spitfire that flew over on Thursday, was a "local" one. Cannot recollect it actually displaying, just passing over. On Saturday, Rob Davies flew a spirited display in his P51 Mustang, getting lower on every pass. We were lucky to be camped next to the river and he appeared to be using this as the display line. One of our group said it was the best thing he had seen all week. The Spitfire display on Sunday was very brief.
Jessie The Jeep
Looking at the pics on W&P, I think it is AR213, a Mk1a Spit. It wasn't at Legends so I don't currently have any good pics. Steve
