Burian
Hi, We now have a 1987 110 Landrover with the original 2.5 NA diesel engine. I have replaced the glowplugs but the indicator never seems to go out. How long should the heater light be on and is there a specific timer you can change. Thanks
sirhc
The light doesn't go out and there is no timer. I usually give it about 5 seconds but I have no idea what the manual says.
Richard Farrant
Are they the correct glowplugs? A friend bought some off Ebay, supposed to be for a 90 Diesel, it would not start. I checked the numbers and they were for a Ford car. He then bought some from a dealer and started straight away.

I was assuming the light and power was on a timer. I will experiment with different times until I find one which seems to work. Many thanks. g0ozs
I have a 90 with the same engine - I generally count to 5 on hot days, 10 normally and 20 in freezing conditions before starting and it usually starts quickly Regards Iain
