question dodge wc52 .50 mount

hi guys I've been looking around at the dodge wc52 and the various weapon mounts that the GIs would stick on them now the usual mount for a .50cal seems to be the m24 now this mount means that the .50s barrel is above the top of the windscreen now the picture attached shows another mount where the .50 is a lot lower down does anyone know what mount this is

That looks kinda like a M24, or else one that somebody just put in there. A M24 is really for a 1/2 ton. The M24a1/a2 is for the 51/52 62/63 trucks.

After looking closer at the photo, it looks like one somebody just put in, as the pedestal is on the wrong side of the front bed. The one made for theses the pedestal is on the other side of the bed, in between the seats.

Its certainly an odd one im trying to go though all the mounts up back then see what it could be

Kinda looks like a M31, or a M25. The M31 was a Jeep mount, and the M25 was a early halftrack mount.
