jasonp51d Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Hello I am a new member here aka jasonp51d (aka Jason Webb) and I am the project manager at Bottisham Airfield Museum in Cambridgeshire. I have a long standing interest in MV's and hope one day to own one myself. We are opening our new museum at Bottisham on the 24th and 25th September this year in our newly built Nissen hut with a Grand Opening weekend event. MV's are very welcome (please let us know if you are planning to come so we can reserve space.) Other attractions will include aircraft flybys, aircraft cockpits, living history displays, re-enactors, trade stands and a 1940's singer plus much much more. Also if you are a local MV owner please feel free to pop in anytime - a warm welcome assured. Cheers Jason 07791 971799 jasonwebb@bottishamairfieldmuseum.org.uk Quote
DFC1943Fl.Lt. Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Hi Jason, my name is Steve and I live in Newmarket. I did pop over to the site earlier on in the year at a weekend to see if I could be of any use as I'm in the building trade. The new building was only just started and thought you might need a willing pair of hands. I have a Mk1 ferret which I am near to getting road worthy. Just the brakes to sort and hopefully she will be ready. Will defo be popping over on the opening day. Regards Steve. Quote
