militant-nick
[video=youtube_share;4lI1kXYjCAk] We'd never been to this show and could only attend for the Sunday. We covered the short distance from South Derbyshire to just below Leicester in good time until we turned right into Countersthorpe Road about a mile from the show site. We joined a line of traffic and so the last mile took 2 hours until we parked at the show. Having said that we were really impressed with the show, I thought it to be a mini w&p with an airstrip. Really nice to see the mix of trade stalls, vehicles, aviation & elements of living history. The weather was glorious and we found the show ground easy to navigate, even with my dad temporarily in a mobility scooter. The battle in the arena was fantastic, possibly the best I've seen - including those at w&p. There seemed to be plenty of food stalls & portaloos and exiting the ground at 1730 took half an hour so not too bad. I'll post this combined Instagram video first with photos to follow shortly. Definitely a recommended show & we will attend again.
