Gordon_M
Words like "unique", "irreplaceable" and "huge talent" are much over used, but not in this instance. Sad loss

RecyMech
You just can't listen to James Brown doing 'I Feel Good' without getting the mental image of Robin Williams in the studio doing the moves. Sad loss, truly electrically funny bloke. H
rosie
I grew up with Robin Williams always appearing in something, Mork and Mindy, Flubber, Hook, Mrs Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam, Jumanji, Aladdin (he was the Genie) and many more. When I first saw the news this morning I thought it was one of these sick jokes but sadly not. I actually cried. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. It does however show that mental illness is not just for common people, anyone can suffer from it. Even Robin Williams couldn't just 'buck up' and 'deal with it' just proves that the most happiest person on the outside is screaming for help in the inside
.303fan
It seems money does not bring happiness, he took the plunge leaving everything he loved behind as the dark cloud in his mind overtook. i will miss him, after all i saw the entire Mork and Mindy series in the 1990's on Dutch TV. Enigma
I have a friend who some years ago emailed me to say he was getting treatment for depression. I visited him several times at the clinic and said I didn't know what to say or do. But I let him know I cared and was there for him. He's doing much better now.
