snowtracdave
Here's some photo's I managed to take at the tournament last weeekend , unfortunately I didn't get the chance to get round to photographing all the brilliant reenactors who covered a span of history from the Thracians and Barbarians through Romans and Saxons to the English Civil war , the Napoleonic period and on to the First and Second world wars . Anyway , here's the pics :

snowtracdave
You're quite welcome . We were there from setting up the vintage MV display on Friday until the Apache left on Sunday evening . Weather was a bit variable from scorching hot to more than a little damp but it was a great weekend and we had a good time - particularly talking to the in service lads and lasses who were there with their respective units . Baz48
Looks great, is it a yearly event
snowtracdave
This was the first year in this incarnation & was run by the ABF in conjunction with a promotions company . There may be another next year but we understand that the gentleman who was in charge is still laying down in a darkened room somewhere so for the moment it's watch this space ! The EAFVG were given the running of the preserved vehicles section and we had a great time meeting and chatting with the in service lads and lasses and all the mop's that came through - vehicle entries weren't as high as hoped but we did say that in the week or so immediately before W&P it was a likely eventuality .
