BSA WM20
After spotting a BSA Folding Bicycle that had a canvas bag mounted inside the frame, I thought I'd start looking for one. Solomon Adler list them at £55 + postage but I've emailed them and had no reply. Battledress and Bayonet list the same thing from Solomon Adler at £95 + postage! Can anyone steer me in the right direction for such a bag?
Ron
Lee ask Frank Brown if he makes them. Ron Edited June 16, 2014 by Ron
Ron
The other accessory is the front carrier to carry a Bergen. Ron
BSA WM20
Thanks Ron, I've sent Frank an email. There was a young lad in the Bayeux Parade on a Parabike with a frame-mounted bag and I've never seen a folding bicycle being peddled so quickly up a hill. He stormed past all the motorcycles! Ron
Yes he had proper pedals fitted to it. Did you come to Tilly with us? (about 10 miles from Bayeux) He decided to come as well. Andy actually towed him gently most of the way. His wheel bearings must have been quite warm! He was only about 12 years old and when we enquired about his family. He said "it's ok, I've text my Dad to tell him I'm being looked after by a group of bikers". Very keen young lad in full uniform....Love it! BSA WM20
I had to catch my ferry after Bayeux so the trip to Tilly was missed this time. The young lad certainly looked the part in his Para uniform and top marks for the trip to Tilly! I was impressed by his peddling through the hilly part of Bayeux and had no idea he was warming up for another 20 mile round trip.
Enigma
The other accessory is the front carrier to carry a Bergen. Ron I put a everest carrier on my bike once with a full small pack on it. I found it made the bike feel/steer a bit different, a tad to much weight on the front wheel. Wouldn't want to ride it with a heavier weight on the front.
