andym
Can anyone shed any light on the provenance of this ammunition catcher? I don't think it's Bren/LMG, GPMG perhaps? Andy

ferretfixer
And the little metal 'block' to the left. Is a 'Riser' Block from an Army issue screw jack!.....
andym
I'd assumed it was part of the mounting! Andy
Brewstop
The bin looks like the the CVR(T) GPMG mount, it was mounted on the right hand side of the gun to catch ejected brass and link while the rounds would have been fed from a 200 round H82 container on the left hand side. I had one very similar in my CES when I was a FV105 Sultan driver back in the days when the Army Air Corps still had armoured command posts.
