mike30841
No, it isn't just you. There are a number of vastly overpriced vehicles about at the moment - is it any wonder some of them keep being re-advertised for two years or more? Mike. ajmac
Whoever advised him on the value was way off. A similar uncut UC was up for £30-40,000 last year, I really can't imagine where the £75,000 came from.

Guy asking WAY too much for a resto project and was trying to get him down. I was even invited to go over and stay at his with the missus to batter it out! Just had a mail off him tonite saying about the Milweb one and now he wants the FULL asking price he originally had it up for, which is the same as a fully restored one over here...!!!!:nut: If he sells that for £75,000 I will lick his boots n hump his donkey!!!! (dont be having a whip round now just for the Kodak Moment!!!!)
w896andy
I think its all a cunning plan, the wife tells you, you have to sell your pride and joy. So you price it at a level it won't sell and you can assure your better half its advertised in the best place to sell it and job sorted it stays in your shed !!! Most people that can afford that kind of money have the sense and want it as cheap as possible... lol

kevin powles
I know of one that sold for 50k in the uk last year, I spoke to the seller and he told me that figure, I later by chance meet the buyer and he confirmed this, it was sold by a connected dealer and the carrier was not an 'out of the create' find. I have driven the carrier for sale a couple of years back and if you are looking for a carrier this is pretty original, correct engine, carb, oil filter, etc. I also have done some restoration on it with Malcolm the deceased owner, very nice guy indeed. same dealer tried to sell me a 2pdr barrel for 7.5k, I politely declined. kevin.
