Legin Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Hi I'm new to this forum stuff (a forum virgin?) so not sure whats expected of me, but as a quick resume, I build wierd and wonderful vehicles for a hobby, some are off roaders, and through this I have had a few dealings with old military vehicles. I was trying to dig up information on the World Wide Wonderland (most of my learning is from the university of google) about the 23 pin amphenol plug on the Landy 24v FFR 90 amp alternator, as some previous owner had removed the plug and all the wiring. I was hoping somebody would know where to get a plug with wires fitted or would know which pin is for what. If anybody has any knowledge of these I would be eternally grateful. Thanks Legin Quote
arcot1751 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Can't help with the plug problem I'm afraid but I'm sure someone here will be able to help, welcome to the HMVF anyway Quote

Rangie Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Hi, welcome to the forum! If you care to have a nose around the technical section, or even a search for "all charged up", Clive Elliott has written a pretty exhaustive tomb on the subject. A wealth of information!! :-D Alec. Quote
Legin Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 Thanks very much for the advice, have downloaded "All Carged Up" and it is an absoloubt mine of information, and has helped immensely. With this info I managed to find which alternator it is and which generator panel I need to go with it, now I just need the generator wiring loom to go with it. Anybody know a good source for FFR parts? Thanks Legin Quote
