Enigma
Looks strange like that in the water, there was also a splash coming in over the top.
ArtistsRifles
Usually recommended to close the hatches when it's choppy - but then who ever had the camera couldn't have filmed it! :-)

mick garner
Hey David, yep Salvage Squad done a Stolly 'restoration' a while back, it was nice to see the programme on a Stalwart, but they didn't show you enough of the mechanical bits really, it was mainly concentrating on re-fitting the swimming gear and getting all sand out of it where somebody had sandblasted it. Still the swim bit at the end was quite good! Thanks and Regards, Mick. P.S Jesus Neil thats the sort of thing you see in movies! I feel sorry for the poor fella in the bloody thing!! ArtistsRifles
Could be - both are Mk 1's :-) :-) You REALLY have to feel for the drivers backside, spine and teeth when those front wheels decide to come down though!!!! :schocked: :schocked: :schocked:
simon stolly
Looks like Thunderbird 2 taking off!!! Must be a early one because it hasn't renforcing bars down the side load bed doors, which on Neils photo looks to be there.
