Flyingtanker
Hello Everyone, Pleased to have found another forum for military vehicle enthusiasts. I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and I am presently restoring a Mk 2 Universal Carrier with two "parts carriers" to help. The project is moving along slower than I would like. The engine I had was too far gone and I am awaing the delivery of 2 more to replace it. I have been in the Canadian Forces for 18 years. 10 of those years was as a Royal Canadian Dragoon, operating Leopard 1's, M-113's, Cougars's, Coyote's, Bison's, and all sorts of trucks. Presently I am in the Air Force flying in the venerable Sea King. Glad to be on board, I am sure I will gain much knowledge from the expertise on this Forum. Also, I am a member on MLU. Cheers! Flyingtanker
Can't complain the Sea King has served us well, a fairly dependable helicopter. I saw a lot of S-61s in Afghanistan, they seemed well suited for the task.
