challenger
Very interesting they seem to be using a TV input for the main fire control. I reckon they have the tracks on back to front.
afvnut75
Yes i was thinking that but they seem to be able to update them fairly easierly to modern standards bearing in mind the vehicles are probably 30/40 years old and they seem to have replaced the engines with other packs Possibly cummins ? And has anyone noticed what looks like the cvrt hybrids ? Sorry that there arent subtiles in english btw !
timbo
Well they managed to reverse engineer F14 Tomcats, and Phoenix air to air missiles so I would guess upgrading Chieftains/ CVRT's should not be too hard by comparison..!
LongJohn
All sorts of interesting stuff here, they've certainly come a long way from when I was there in the 70's. http://www.iranmilitaryforum.net/
