agmerlin
Well, Hawker Hunter WN904 is now reassembled in its new home in Northamptonshire at the Sywell Aviation Museum!
Lauren Child
Worth a trip to Tangmere if you like them - they have the world record holding one. It's an interesting museum to look around as well http://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk/museum-aircraft/hawker-hunter-mk3
berna2vm
Never rated the Hunter as a child because it didn't possess mach1+ performance and was not much use in Top Trumps !!! However belatedly I have come to love it's lines and the awesome punch of the four 30mm Aden cannons !!!

Hawker had the P1083, "Supersonic Hunter", 50 degree wing sweep and afterburning Avon engine, design stopped in '53.
Eaglehurst
Well, Hawker Hunter WN904 is now reassembled in its new home in Northamptonshire at the Sywell Aviation Museum! Popped over to Sywell, with my lad, on Sunday and sure enough I was greeted with the sight of said Hunter. Beautiful aeroplane and great to see a growing museum like Sywell playing host. Interesting to see that it is the only complete Mk2 left....
